Mrs kennedy's class took part in this year's ESB Science Blast Exhibition in the RDS. The pupils investigated

' Are finger prints inherited?' They received an excellent report stating that the pupils had looked at the question from many different angles. They looked at their own finger prints, those of their siblings, those of their parents and they investigated the fingerprints of 2 sets of twins , one set were identical twins and other were non- identical twins. They discovered that fingerprints within a family have similarities hence some aspects are inherited.

Congratulations to the class. Thank you to Mrs Kennedy.
