Green Walk against Climate Change

Pupils and parents walked around the village wearing green to highlight our concern over climate change. We turned off all lights and interactive boards for the afternoon. The Green Schools Committee under the guidance of Ms Markham and Ms Gleeson showed the pupils how to save to energy. €179 was donated to Barnados.

Glebe Park Opens

Glebe Park Opens:

It is with great pride and pleasure that our 5th class pupils researched and wrote about the native trees planted in Glebe Park. Thank you to Fingal Co Council and in particular Margaret Haugh for including the school in this project. The pupils also planted 10 mountain ash trees. Congratulations to Balrothery Community Group and Fingal Co Council for this fabulous amenity .
