Grandparents Day in Ms Garrigan's 5th&6th Class

We loved having our grandparents and visitors in to see us in 5th&6th Class. The children made a great effort in preparation for the visit. We decided to create stations that our visitors could come to and experience school life and also share their own experiences. We had a games station, a selfie photo station (where the group had made the frame and props from scratch!), an art station where the children showed their grandparents how to do the Heather Galler art we recently created, an interview station and there was also the chance to try out the interactive whiteboard! We had a table of remembrance were we had space for memories, photos and the names of those who could not be with us on the day. It was a really lovely morning for everyone.
