Intercultural Week
On Wednesday 12th May we held our annual Intercultural Parade around the village. The children walked through the village in their traditional clothes and showcased their art work. There was a fantastic atmosphere around the place.
We really enjoyed our Intercultural Day on Friday 12th May. The children in Junior Infants looked at Ireland. The children put in a lot of effort into their art work and projects. Mrs Callaghan kindly made us some lovely soda bread to share with the school and the Tayto crisps went down a treat! It was a great opportunity for the children to showcase their hard work and efforts.
Some of the girls from Loreto Secondary School also came down to perform some traditional dances for the school.
