Lego!
The children are really enjoying exploring our new Lego sets as part of our learning in STEM. Thanks to the parents committee and their hard work fundraising, we purchased some new Lego sets to include Lego Education STEAM park, LEGO Education Coding Express and Lego Education BricQ Motion. Along with that, we received some very generous donations of Lego and this has greatly contributed to our sets. All classes receive Lego twice a week and the children are already learning so much through Lego. There is great excitement in school when the Lego arrives!
We would also like to extend a huge thank you to Taragh and her boys for the fantastic Lego display they provided in the hall in the end of May. Taragh generously shared her fascinating Lego collection with our school for the day and we all had an allocated time spot to go explore. Have a look for yourself in the video below. It really captured the interest of all the children (and staff!) proving to be very inspiring for our future Lego creations. We appreciate Taragh and her boys, giving up their time and Lego to allow the children explore. It was a fantastic way of launching our own Lego Education sets.
