Our School poems
Darragh O’Brien, thanks to you
By Calleigh McHugh
Darragh O’Brien, thanks to you,
we’re finally getting the new school.
Even though because of the work, it’s becoming a tight space,
I can’t wait to explore this long-awaited new place.
Darragh O’Brien, thanks to you!
The pre-fabs will soon be gone, as they should,
and more yard space will keep everyone smiling, as they would.
Even though we still have a few months to wait,
to see this new school I would never be late!
Darragh O’Brien, thanks to you,
we’re finally getting the new school.
As this new school awaits us all,
I can’t wait to see the classrooms and the soon to be decorated hall.
Darragh, O’Brien thanks to you!
Our School
With my time at this school coming to an end
Its time I tell you about this school my friend
The school might be different to you
And it`s different to me too
Before I take my final say…
I`ll tell you about the person who made the schools day
Thanks to Daragh o`Brien who has come here to say
The new lay out for the school is made from brick and clay
I`m only joking it`s not built that way
But sit down and watch the school be built day by day
Thanks to you Daragh o`Brien the school will finally be made
Now are school is the best better than all the rest
This poem is dedicated to Daragh o`Brien
