Wellbeing - Friendship Week 2025
23rd Feb 2025
The school celebrated Friendship week from the 10th of February to the 14th of February. The week is designed to focus our attention on looking after ourselves and others. Each day had an activity - assembly where each class sang a song together, board games came in on Tuesday and a pleasant afternoon was had by all, children were encouraged to walk to school with a friend on Wednesday, thankful Thursday ( Drama/ SPHE) and Friday was breakfast morning. Children wore their own clothes or their PJs. A movie afternoon was had by all. 5th and 6th class were served tea/hot chocolate.During the week to promote positive behaviour each child had a secret friend, the aim was to do an act of kindness for that person each day, the staff had their secret friend as well. It was a lovely week and it reminded us all that we are a community who look after each other.
Thank you to the Wellbeing Committee and the Student Council for leading this.
